The Readings of A Cultural Response to the Climate and Ecological Emergency
Walcot Chapel, Bath. Friday April 12 7pm – 8pm
With refreshments and music. Come along and support an international day of action. All are welcome, to quietly listen, to offer your voice – be part of this inspiring action.
On Friday 12th Letters to the Earth will be read out in venues all across the world, spanning Zambia to Canada, Latvia to New Zealand.
These letters have been written…
“From 7 year olds to great grandparents, from across the world, from all walks of life, Letters that have moved, humbled and inspired … by their number, their depth of feeling, and their call to action. They constitute the largest creative response to the climate crisis the world has yet seen.”
In Bath, local writers and speakers, concerned and galvanised by the situation we all find ourselves in, are gathering to create a welcoming space to read out and share the Letters to the Earth. It will be a space of support, creativity and connection. The evening is open everyone to listen, share, and come together. If you would like to be a reader at this event there is still time, please email your interest as soon as possible to: firstname.lastname@example.org Read more about the Letter to the Earth call to action here: https://www.letterstotheearth.com/
